The one-year anniversary of our move into our little Lexington townhouse is fast approaching, and we’ve focused on making the place our own.
“Phases and stages, circles and cycles, and scenes that we’ve all seen before. Let me tell you some more.” —Willie Nelson
The truth is we’ve been, umm … a bit distracted; buying and selling real estate and a move will do that to you.
If you’ve been following our Basecamp Gallivance series, you may have noticed that we’re nearing our one-year anniversary in the condo, and thankfully, the renovation is winding down.
After a week of washing dishes in the bathroom sink, mowing through a huge stack of paper plates, and descending into the dark abyss of TV dinners, our new kitchen sink and marble countertop have finally been installed.
I know that when I say “Basecamp” you’re probably envisioning us lounging in some exotic locale, “glamping” on a romantic African safari. Ahhh, wouldn’t that be nice. Alas, no … at least, not yet.
