In 2012 we journeyed around the world. It was the culmination of years of preparation. We’d scrimped and saved, renovated and sold houses, downsized and donated roomfuls of stuff. The time was right.
For the past eight years we’ve been on a joyful quest to simplify our life. It’s been a journey that has taken us from minimizing our possessions and streamlining our digital footprint, to downsizing our abode and becoming financially independent. We’ve done it all … and we’re thrilled with where we’ve landed.
We began 2019 dreaming. We’d just returned from another European escapade, and big plans were on the horizon.
You may be asking yourself how a post on going paperless fits on a travel blog. To that I would answer that one of the biggest advantages to going paperless is access to personal and financial documents on any computer or mobile device – anytime, anywhere.
When visiting a city for the first time, it’s hard to know exactly what to expect … but something has drawn you there. It could be grand architecture, incredible museums, world class dining or amazing entertainment. Whatever the motivation, in the end, your impression of the city reflects the sum of its parts.
