It’s a universal truth that puppies, kittens, and kids the world over are drawn to shiny objects – and we were no different. In modern adult slang this attraction is called “bling,” but for devout Christians, tiny sliver charms are called milagros or tamata.
There’s something irresistible about a bride, decked out in her wedding finery. Whether she’s wearing a silken sari in Sri Lanka, or a lacy gown in Spain, you can’t help but smile.
In less than a week we’re going to take our first overseas trip since coming back from the RTW in April. Wow! Time sure does fly. In that time we swanned around for a couple of months, bought a condo, moved our stuff from Charleston, and knuckled-down to a grueling renovation. Whew!
