We're Terri and James Vance - high school sweethearts who went on to international careers and became world nomads. Today, 65 countries later, we're still traveling ... and still in love. Check out Our Story for more of the backstory at gallivance.net.

Actually, I didn’t see any Omanis celebrating it, but last night I went to a hotel that caters to tourists on Jebel Akhdar, and they had prepared a huge Valentine’s Day feast. Since there are only 2 million Omanis and 700,000 expats in the country, often we find celebrations geared expressly to the expats! 🙂
And the same to you, may you enjoy many more wonderful travels together!
Aww, that’s nice! We were just deciding whether to go out for a meal, but decided to go another day when it’s not so busy. My daughter’s in Venice and I’m wondering where they’ll be dining.
That’s funny Jo because James and I were just having the same conversation. The photos of your daughter’s wedding are gorgeous – love the clothes and cake! Hope they’re enjoying Venice. ~Terri
Thank you. I smiled all the way through your Walk Through Venice post. Stunning photos – you really captured the essence of the city. Thanks for taking us all along with you. All the Best, Terri

Hi Rusha, Glad you liked the hearts. Loved your post about Chicago O’Hare. I haven’t been through there in a while – now I have an incentive! ~Terri
Happy Valentine’s Day to you too!
Thank you. Is Valentine’s Day observed in Oman? It wasn’t when we lived in Sudan. ~Terri
