Pegasus Visits Latvia

wpid-Photo-Oct-10-2012-520-AM.jpg

Artistic weathervanes have been a common and very enjoyable feature on our travels in the Baltic. From simple to amazingly ornate, and old to shiny-new, all have been a pleasure to see. This wind vane, atop a hotel in Jurmala, Latvia is one of our favorites. The hotel is named after Pegasus, one of the best known mythological creatures in Greek mythology, and on the day of our visit, the horse’s mane, and the girl’s hair had good reason to be blowin’ in the wind.

Happy Trails,
James
