Pegasus Visits Latvia

Artistic weathervanes have been a common and entertaining feature of our travels in the Baltic. From solidly simple to amazingly ornate, all have been a joy to see.

This wind vane, atop a hotel in Jurmala, Latvia is one of our favorites. The hotel is named after Pegasus, one of the best known mythological creatures in Greek mythology. And on the day of our visit, the horse’s mane, and the girl’s hair had good reason to be blowin’ in the wind.

Happy Trails,
