Our living room used to be pretty bleak. Dark and dreary with bare concrete floors. But as the saying goes, “It had good bones.”
Finally it feels like home thanks to gallons of paint, new floors and woodwork, a ceiling fan (we Southerners gotta have our fans), and some simple furnishings. It’s much more welcoming … and lives great.
So what’s the next big project? New kitchen countertops and sink. But right now we’re taking a break … and planning a fall trip. We are travelers, after all.
