Happy New Year’s Eve from Athens! Given the time difference, we’ll probably see 2012 before most of you.
This New Year thing is a pretty big deal, but at our house, it’s second fiddle to the real importance of the day … Terri’s Birthday. Yep, she’s a New Year’s Eve baby, or as her folks were fond of saying – a great tax deduction!
To celebrate Terri’s Birthday we plan to stroll around town and sample some Greek delicacies (I’ve got my eye on a little Greek Pie Shop that makes some tasty spanakopita). Tonight we’ll go out for a couple of drinks, cook a fun meal, watch the fireworks from the balcony, and welcome 2012 and another great year.
