The Key Ceremony

Key Ceremony

Over the years we’ve developed a tradition. We call it The Key Ceremony. Whenever we sell a house or leave an apartment, we make an extra copy of the front door key. Then upon arrival at our new destination, we find a body of water, reminisce about what we loved about our former home, and toss the key in. We’ve left keys all over the world!

So when we arrived in Reykjavik, we found Tjornin (City Pond) and began the ceremony. We talked about our great little Charleston apartment … then let it fly. The ducks sure were surprised!

Peace,
Terri
